... offers. There were 2 highlights. First the road between Pfronzheim and Muehlhausen. A quite road, slowly going up and in the deep the Wuerm. Really a pleasure to ride. At the end of the day I arrived in Naturpark Schoenbuch. A quite park with dark forest and great valleys !
Tomorrow it goes up the Schwaebisch Alp. From 300 meters up to 737 meters.

... 11, I heard something about "if you want to get off at Karlsruhe take the train to D.... on platform 10". The sign on platform 11 showed Karlsruhe and 2 guards told us it would stop there, so we boarded. Then an announcement in English and it didn't mention a stop at K from platform 11. So we hightailed it to platform 10.
The change of trains at Karlsruhe for Heidelberg was easy - next platform. I'd intended putting our bags in a locker at Heidelberg ...

We also went on a boat ride through the fairytale garden, and saw more people - like Pinocchio - inside a tunnel.
... We stayed at a fabulous B&B in Ypres, very friendly people, great room and walking distance to Menin Gate. Sandy even had a good chat to Gabriel Gate, the Aussie TV host. If you want to see her on TV during the Tour de France, watch the Ypres day.

Once we returned we parked the car and took our bags up to our room through the awful cigarette and old food scented corridors. We hadn't gone to our room yet and turns out we couldn't even open the door! We tried everything and nothing seemed to work! We admitted defeat and Jess ended up going to reception to ask for help.
Jess returned with the receptionist in tow an she managed to open the door instantly. How embarrassing! ...
