... then in to the car again to make our way to Bamberg, where we had decided to stay the night. We still had about a two and a half hour drive, most of it on a freeway, thank goodness, otherwise it would have taken 5 hours, at least! Arrived at the Mercedes Benz museum on the outskirts of Stuttgart at 11am and there were heaps of people there. Must say it is a very impressive place and so much to take in. We did 2 hours, had a quick lunch then another 2 hours. It was about 3:15 when we left and felt quite jaded, but found it so interesting. ... time I got some spaghetti ice (just ice cream processed to look like spaghetti but it just feels like regular ice cream) - spaghetti carbonara. Don't worry, it wasn't bacon ice cream. I think some sort of almond, and nut with small cookies on it. I liked it. Back at the Burkhardt's we chatted while Heidi and Wobu had a glass of wine and said goodnight by 9:30.
