Hi Family and Friends,

Although it sounds like the battle cry of the Luftwaffe the harsh phonetics of its name certainly belie this beautiful soft and inviting city. .It really is a modern, technically industrialized city meeting the medieval past. I wasn't sure what to expect and had pinpointed this stop as more so a stepping stone down to Munich. I have been pleasantly surprised.

The last 16 months passed by so quickly. I can't believe I'm back in Germany now. A few hours ago I was still in Singapore. The flight from Singapore to Frankfurt took 13.07 hours and then after a short transfer time, I arrived at 8.40 am in Stuttgart.
