... The tent’s window flaps kept banging non-stop against the wall while I listened attentively with eyes wide-open in total darkness! Those ghost stories that I heard of unexplained phenomena happening in the desert sure didn’t help!

Well after a very eventful evening yesterday a chill out day was in order today so we had a lovely lie in. Jodhpur is a lovely wee city nestled at the foot of a huge fort, also known as the blue city, many of the old houses were occupied by Brahmins but nowadays all locals paint them blue as it apparently repels the mozzies better.

Good night's sleep and if the great Prophet called us to prayer then I'm afraid we missed it on this occasion. Had coffee on our balcony before breakfast - still in awe of this view and can't wait to visit the fort later. By the way, during drinks last night, we saw some of the biggest bats ever circling the pool - almost prehistoric (since found out they are snub-nosed fruit bats).
