... we zoomed to the bus and began our long six hours of road trip to Jodhpur. The road trip was very long but the between the roads, we learned lot about each other that we never knew about. It was very warm feeling and knowing we connected with each other in many ways during this trip. At last, we arrived to a hotel, and we swam in a pool then ate dinner at the hotel. We closed our day with cold pool! See y’all guys tomorrow!

Our last stop was at a cooperative that makes dhurrie rugs. The head of this coop was a very savvy guy and I think the cooperative is prosperous. The family were incredibly welcoming, spoke quite good English which made for easier conversation over dinner and wouldn't let us go until we had all made a big enough ...

It was with heavy hearts we left Jaipur, we finally found a perfect guest house and a city of a reasonable size. We were even beginning to enjoy ourselves, and dare i say it relax in India! The streets still had the same hustle and bustle but it wasn't set to the manic pace of Mumbai. We spent our last day visiting the crumbling fort, and got expertly lost for about an hour. Finally emerging onto the road to head back to town. Then back to relax in our ...

Jodhpur 19th - 20th October 2013 by Martin As Udaipur and Jodhpur are the only 2 places in India that are not connected by train we were forced to take the bus. The experience was not one I'd wish to repeat. If you imagine taking a 7 hour sauna during an earthquake then you'll get pretty close to it. If you then add to that mix 3 small children constantly spitting out of the upstairs window onto your arm, getting whipped in the face by a tree and ...
