Today we caught the train from Frankfurt to Friedberg to pick up the van. It was late being available and we got out of the hire company's yard at about 6 pm. We then drove to Laubach about 40 km NE for our first night in the van. The friendly manager met us on arrival, and sorted things out for us, even ringing the local pub to stay open so we could get a meal.

... the walk was a good time to go to sleep so we took in turns to carry the equivelant of a sack if potatoes around the crowd. The market was brilliant but over whelming, our own fault for not taking a rest. Still we have plenty more to see and a better idea of what to expect.
