Currently lying on the bed in our luscious hotel having just had a shower in our fully clear glass shower! Arrived in Koh Samui today and pretty much instantly went to a Thai cooking course which was really good! Absolutely stuffed now. I would tell you what I made but I haven't a clue how to spell it. Very Thai and very tasty anyway. This morning before we left, Robin and I climbed up to the view point which looks ...

... rock pools. Thinking to myself, "ohh it's really nice here, but to be honest I've seen more impressive waterfalls" Then the thought of the treacherous journey back down overtook the serenity of my surroundings. It was like an instant kick in the balls, now you have reached the top, you now have to go all the way back down. Arrgh, nightmare! Until the very large measures of vodka got to me and I was ill :-( thank you to Carley, Ryan, Niki and Sheena for looking after ...

... annoying because it was only 10 minutes away. Such a rip off. We had no choice though so whatever. We grabbed breakfast at the restaurant next door and tried to figure out what we were gonna do. Even though we were in the middle of no where and not where we wanted to be, it was kinda nice to be somewhere quiet. It was just us eating breakfast at this cute place outside. We had a few hours to burn till we left so Keli decided she was gonna ...

... resort in the middle of no where. We got off, thanked him and Keli watched our bags as I asked the lady if she could call a taxi for us. Of course, not knowing English, she showed me a room. Gah. Finally she understood and hopped in her truck and drove down to Keli. We were so confused, I guess she was a taxi too? We tried to tell her we wanted to stay by markets, people, close to the ferry, not in the middle of no where. She drove us literally down the street to these sketch ...
