... with a church from the 1200's. Once back in France we visited one more town, Turckheim which had a moat and town gates. The moat is now a grassy area and garden for the residents. We saw one happy frolicking dog in one grassy area of the most! On our way back to Colmar, we stopped at E-Leclerc - the Super Wal-Mart of France and bought some cheese, wine, foie-Gras, beer and crackers for our evening and went back to Maison des Tetes to pack up for our early morning ...
... Cruise and we have the best crew ever! They not only take great care of you, but they are wonderful fun people who get along and make you smile and laugh. Time is going so fast! I particularly enjoyed St. Peter. The little town was just beautiful and the church was a gorgeous little Rococo gem. The interior was bright with touches of gold and little curlicues everywhere. Ben was impressed by the large shiny pipe organ in the back balcony and we all wished we could hear someone play it. From the square in front of the church, you could look out at the lovely green rolling hills and cows grazing in the distance.
