Today we traveled to Malaysia by bus. We had to wake up extra early to take it (at 8am). But there was a massive traffic jam as today was a public holiday in Singapore. So it took us more than an hour to arrive to the first checkpoint. There was a very long queue to get out of Singapore as well as to take the bus again. It took us another ...

It was a really smooth ride we both got glued to the tele and watched a few films, we have never left a bus with 100% charge left on our phones until today! Haha. What a whirlwind day! When we landed in Penang it was nearly 1am so there wasn’t much traffic, but our cab driver ensured us that just a few hours earlier the roads had been nearly impassable due to unrelenting hectic Chinese New Year traffic. “More than jam!”

... otherwise I might get there and back in a day from JB where I found a decent hotel in the center at 22 euro.Last night I spent a lovely evening in a nightclub in front of my hotel: the Reggae bar which was full of western tourists of the nearby hotels and clubs, all ready to drink beer and have fun dancing and I took advantage after two months of Indian stagnation. Back at my hotel I chatted with Liviana, a nice ...
