Here we were able to see original manuscripts from Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson. The special collections curator wasn't there, but a woman on staff unlocked it and allowed us to walk around. Emily Dickinson's house was closed today. The ONLY day of the week it's closed... Oh well. Not much I can do. Now in to ...

... Massachusetts. We crossed into Massachusetts and were welcomed to the Berkshires, I think I may have heard that names before as well with a connotation of wealth. Then we travelled some on Jacob's Ladder Trail of the Appalachian Trail. The 20 in New York where we were was called a scenic biway and we saw signs indicating Amish but didn't see an Amish horse and cart unfortunately. Also, passed a Shaker Village. This state is so rich in history.

Today we bid adieu to Providence and travel on a 1.5hr bus ride to Connecticut. We visit UConn and Yale and then head to NY for dinner.
