Well rested after an awesome evening, the day has dawned fine and will be around 18 degrees. Well that is what was forecast. After filling ourselves on an amazing breakfast we are on the motorway for the 1 hour drive to Keukenhof gardens. Never have we seem so many huge tour buses in one place. Today we took an early bus from Leiden to Lisse about a half-hour drive. It was the perfect day to visit Keukehof Gardens, cool, but sunny with little wind. The gardens are a spectacular sight, 86 acres of millions of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and muscari. The trees - crabapple, Japanese cherry, dogwood, and others - are in bloom and the rhododendrons and azaleas are just beginning. First, we took a boat ride through canals ...
