... roads is very slow. Our hotel is located about 8 km outside Baden Baden and is set in the middle of a grape vineyard. It is peaceful and quiet. The rooms are extremely large and comfortable with views over the vineyard. The name of the hotel is Rebenhof. One thing to note on today's drive is how fast the Germans five on the Autobarn. This appears to be the centre of Europeanism and cafe culture (remember Tony wanted us all to have that so revised the licensing hours etc?
Anyway, we took the train into the city to “do” it.
Whilst lots of cities are the “same” each has it's own feeling and this place was good.
On arrival at the station, it wasn't the marble of Monaco but clean enough and relatively quiet ...

Woke up this morning to a very different day, with very overcast grey skies and rain overnight but it seems to have stopped now, can't complain we've had brilliant weather so far. ... was a market on which was very interesting. The food hawkers would fill bags with food stuffs calling out as they added each item then try and sell the bag. A bag is fruit and vegetables for €15, cheeses but unsure of the bag price, cured meats for €20. Peter enjoyed a stop at the lolly stall, then was able to purchase a replacement belt.
