    ... of cops gathered in front of a cafe, and thought, "great, it will be opening soon." As I walked by and noticed how closed it looked, one of the cops said something to me in Bulgarian and pointed down.
    Iooked, but I hadn't dropped anything, so I said "what?" At this point he gave an "oh"-like response and waved me along. As I turned to go, I noticed that two of the guys "lined up" to get into the cafe weren't cops. They were actually teens. And then ...

    ... ethnographic museum but only found the history one - when there was only about 15 - 20 minutes left before we had to return to our meeting place. We all went in anyway and still managed to have a good look round. It contained such interesting things as old school textbooks from the monastery school that used to be here, a Viennese printing press the monastery acquired in the 1860s, prints made using it, coins, weapons, jewellery and religious gifts from pilgrims and bishops ...

    ... common issue here?! Shopping done, we set our sights on a monastery that we think is the most famous one and head to the hills. The drive was quite incredible winding through mountains between tiny villages as the temperature dropped and the rain set in. What seamed like Hundreds of people were lined along the highway selling jams and honey's - kinda wishes we had some Bulgarian to purchase - before we dropped down to ski valley. Pretty crazy ...
