... 260 stairs up to the old fortress and saw the clock tower, etc. There was a great view from the top.
Today after sleeping in, I headed out to find these so called museums and galleries. I got sidetracked on my way to a cafe for coffee and food when I saw a beautiful park with many benches begging me to sit and stay for a while. Headed to the grocery store, bought some cheese, crackers, and fruit (my favorite meal!) and headed to the park ...
... br>Warren's German includes phrases such as "Ich liebe dich" (I love you), "Danke" (Thank you), and... "Ich liebe meine gute Lederhosen" (I love my good leather pants)**... which he figured out how to say all on his own.
Overall our time in Graz was so relaxing. We kind of just went around at a slow pace, and didn't feel like we needed to rush to see a bunch of touristy attractions (like in some other cities). But, we still did a ...
We drove from Vienna south to Graz, which was a lovely little city. We parked Fred along the river and walked into town. The main old square was having a chocolate festival! so there were a lot of people milling around with spoons in their hands. They bought the spoons and then could taste different kinds of chocolate from vendors…very tempting but we had things to see. We decided to take the glass lift through the hill to the top of Castle Hill ...
Graz, Styria, Austria armajor7... just went down the pedestrian street a ways, and the hotel we would find there was just as nice. So we took his advice and ended up here, which is exactly as he described. The pedestrian street is long and full of interesting shops and restaurants, leading to the centre square. Our hotel is at the far end, where the pedestrian street meets the car-friendly roads. Just above us is a castle. It is illuminated with colourful lights at night.

On the last evening in Belgrad, i was not sure if i will head to Ljubljana or back home on the next day. I wrote some CS-requests for Ljubljana, but i was not lucky.
It cannot be denied, that Belgrad has flair, and the nighlife particularity; When i roamed throught the streets, i accidently passed a mass of people and asked, what was going on. They declared, that Serbia was ...

Trains from Ljubljana to Graz (Austria) departs very frequently; there are several trains every day and fare is 31,40€. In theory the trip takes about 3 hours... HA! actually it takes 4 hours and 45 minutes, because you have to change to another train at Maribor, on the slovenian border.
Man, Austria really can't stand us! it looks like a joke: the day we arrived in Vienna from Bratislava it ...
... The fashion in Graz is absolutely terrible! I think they had a die on horrible hair dye, b/c every other person had some sort of ridiculous hair style, color, or both. Not to mention they appeared to be stuck in some kind of terrible grunge-era funk. There is no way to truly capture the horrible-ness that was the people of Graz, but I hope you can try to understand
Graz, Styria, Austria beccaboyer... in the day helped us with the blog update and watch a few of our current favourite shows on MTV before bed. Graz is one of only a few places in the Wickaublich! (Belinda and I made-up this term as a cross between Wicked! and unglaublich) segment of the trip where I'm spending more than 2 nights so we were graced with another full day in the city. Again, we indulged ourselves with another late start and breakfast consisted of bananas purchased the previous day. Before ...
Graz, Austria v1213... he used to be a pretty big celebrity in the city until he became Governor of California (or as he says Kalleeeeforneee-ah), and then when he didn't repeal the death penalty, they took his name off of the soccer stadium and burned effigies of him in the streets. I am kidding about the effigies part, but they really did take his name off the soccer stadium. In other news, summer is over and it is ...
Graz, Austria fuhrmann... 4 hours just to get into the tent. Since the tickets had sold out weeks if not months ago, waiting in line for 4 hours didn't sound too appealing to me. We were thinking about just going to see if we could get into a tent somehow and at least try to do some of the activities, but people have said that its not very much fun at all unless you have tent tickets. So in the end, we decided not to go. However, Munich is supposed to be an awesome city and I want to get ...
