... As at Versailles, a large aquaduct was required to bring water for the many water displays. The garden covers about 120 hectare and was also inspired by the park of Versailles. We walked the full length of the gardens to the the fountain at the top where the aquaduct began. Luckily one side was still in a bit of shade or I'm not sure we would have made it.
