Welcome to Montreal. We arrived around 1830 on Friday and walked around 25 minutes across town to our hostel in the Village district of the city. The hostel is very smart looking, with quality furnishings, fitting and beds. Everything looks good but we will wait and see if it is all as good as it seems.

Despite the fatigue I found it very difficult to go to sleep last night. When I did I would've missed breakfast if it wasn't for someone else's alarm, and even though I still managed to drop off for another half an hour and had to really force myself to get up. ... and people act as if the world comes to an end. Worst is being cold inside my apartment. I couldn't bare the cold. December 2011 in Delhi it was 2 C.. ah... I was in Kolkata and I was actually cold indoors.
