... Chateau de Chenonceau. This one was Mummy's favourite. It looked like the Disneyland castle! After walking through a beautiful grove, Ben noticed 2 statutes that looked Egyptian. As well as having a castle that was beautiful (home to 5 French Queens), it had excellent gardens with beautiful fountains. Ben and Jon had fun running through the gardens. We stopped at a Burgundy chateau where the couple bought large wooden boxes of ...

... of time, 22 people, and suitcases, but we managed! We pulled into the Tours train station and all of the families were waiting at the end of the platform. I wish I would have thought to take a picture. What a welcome! I also wish I could be a fly on the wall at their French homes right now. I know they were nervous but I have much confidence in them. What an experience! I am so proud of them! I cannot wait to call them on Sunday. I will update again then. Bonne nuit! ...
