... is much more complex than Tokyo's due to its lack of compensation for tourists. I also noticed for the first time in Japan that I was being stared at by locals. As a 6ft 4 pale skinned and fairly light coloured hair foreigner I was expecting this on my trip, but it still is a bit odd! Nagoya castle was very impressive and is perched on top of a huge stone defensive wall, about 4 times the size of the one at ...

... This room is not as well designed as the previous one in Tokyo. It is quite large compared to the typical rooms in Japan. That's why we are paying so much more for this trip than we ever had. However, there is not a single hook to be seen in the bathroom and there is nowhere to string the clothes lines to. There isn't a line that you can pull out of the wall as you have in most other hotels.

Then it is to bed. The blog can wait till tomorrow.
