Catching a ferry at noon we left Miyajima and made our way to the Hiroshima airport for our flight to Okinawa. Like most cities the airport was a substantial distance from the city centre and it took us almost an hour to get there by bus. In total the journey from Miyajima to Naha , Okinawa involved a ferry, train, bus and plane and took 5 hours.
