APARTAMENTOS ATRIUM BEACH Cala Finestrat

These pictures are from me trying to take a photo of myself writing with my ancient feather pen from the Alicante market and from walking around Alicante on a tour of the the two cathedrals, San Nicolas y Santa Barbara.

We meet our host families in two days and that's when it all really begins. I can't wait! I'm just hoping and praying that I live close to the City Centre. And that mi familia es muy amable.

... few hours Miguel turned up and told us his stories of being lost which involved running round the city for two hours looking confused. He obviously went up for a shower. Shortly after a German girl (Jessica) started talking to me looking to meet some people. She told me a funny story about how she had just seen this crazy looking confused person running around a bus stop. This story was ...

... shoes. . . . But i didnt have no clues. . . Crazy man at night. . . . gave Alex a fright. . . . its not these times we choose. . . . Its the Barcalona/Peniscola Blues" . . . . and so it went on.

After a truly genius and uplifting night the Belgians and Germans who were supposed to be leaving in the morning decided to stay another day. Then we all slept in our own amazingly comfortable beds. Awesome.

... usual and fell asleep in a wierd location (motorway traffic Island) as usual. Then, as usual, whilst going to the toilet a big animal started rustling around in a bush next to me. I nonchalently threw a massive rock in there to freak it out.

Then we soundly fell asleep to the sound of heavy traffic a few meters away.

... Küsten. Patrick führt mich zielstrebig zu den schönsten und sehenswertesten Flecken, die diese Stadt zu bieten hat. Der Hafen ist erstklassig - seht selbst!

Ich höre den ganzen Tag Englisch - ja es gibt sogar englische Pubs und englisches Essen. Es ist nur ziemlich heiß, schon beim schleichenden Gehen breche ich in Schweißescapaden aus-uff!

Aber gut, das war sicher noch kühl - im August 09 erlebt Spanien eine Hitzewelle - es hat immer über 40 Grad!

... and invited us to stay with them in a household already overflowing before we were added to the mix. We totalled 19 people in the house! The train ride across southern Spain was awesome.
