      Flight from Amsterdam to Kilimanjaro
Journey time 8 hours, 40 minutes

First in line, 1st on-board… thank you Delta and KLM… My seat choice was definitely a mistake. I got an aisle seat right at the front of the plane -but- there was a metal box thing in the foot-well of the seat in front and it made it difficult ...

Well here I am in Amsterdam, a little under 24 hours since I landed and now on a train to Keukenhof , a 30 plus hector parcel of land covered in shrubbery, a variety of flowers and mostly tulip gardens. A major tourist attraction now in it's last day of the season, and labeled a must see, so here I go. I think a tame day is definitely needed after yesterday evening.

... strange city is simply taking advantage of public transport, it’s both cheap and extensive, you can hop on and off as much as you like, you can explore the city area as well as the suburbs, just remember to take note of the tram or bus number it works for me, but hey you get lost just grab a taxi back to your hotel and yes I have got lost once or twice in various places but always found my way home, most times without the aid of a taxi.
