So, in the midst of all my MCAT madness, my host family was also preparing to move to our new house in Almere Haven. Literally the same days that I was in London for my test (5-6 August), the movers came and packed up our house and brought everything to the new house. By the way, I will never be able to afford it, but that is the way to move. I cannot believe other people packed the house for us.

... returned from pony camp that day so we gave them all their presents we had bought (wine for Henriette and Andre, and a purse and bracelet for Adia).

... French would be beneficial. I literally cannot think of a full sentence in French anymore since all words have been replaced with Dutch. Not that I can speak that particularly well either, but as one of Adia's friend's father said when I was messaging with him, "Nederlandse is een moeilijk taal." (Translation - Dutch is a difficult language). Of course he wrote that after my grammar was so ...

... then we decided to quit our jobs and travel for longer instead!

Our flights were uneventful and tiring as usual, and Donna and Stu found us at the airport early on Monday morning. They did a great job of keeping us awake for the whole day by taking us for a walk through the beautiful green spaces of Almere to the town centre. Almere is a new and highly planned town which is designed for bikes and walking. During our walk along the ...
