... time of 24 years.

The effect of this white, fairy-tale castle with its beautiful location is simply amazing. Unfortunately, the man who dedicated his life and a fortune on the project, Ludwig II, never got the see the castle completed, as he died in 188 So, who was this man, who had such a masterpiece of a castle constructed and what were his motives? After walking the streets for a while we settled for a place that overlooked a cobbled area that seemed quite popular. Pete had noticed that one building in particular was drawing the most of the attention. After battling with the menu, our waitress offered us the English menus, such a relief! We both ordered traditional ...

... save for a quick mention of a connection with Wagner. And the cave, trust me, is far less interesting, though no less mad, than it sounds. The views, however, are something else. On one side lakes, on the other impressive mountains, you can at least see why the mad reluctant King built the thing where he did. So what of that three and a half hour wait? Mostly in the rain before the sky's cleared? Japanese watching. A ...
