Had breakfast at the hotel (very good) and headed to the cable car station to be first in line. It didn't open until 20 past 9 so we had to wait a while. It was a beautiful morning and we chatted to some Aussies and Canadians that were on a Scenic river cruise.

I know you are all wondering how this story ends? 4:30 am we walked into our home, greeted by our darling Rocky. HOME SWEET HOME! BED SWEET BED!! Over and ...

Our two visits were Mungsterbrucke which is the highest railway viaduct in Germany and, more importantly there is now a very pleasant park area underneath it.
We were also told that we would be taken to meet some even older people than us (is that supposed to make us feel better?) This turned out to be the ...

This morning berthed at the side of the Rhine close to Cologne Cathedral. Had a look round it and then just wandered about the streets. Off to lunch now. While we are at lunch the boat is having to move to the other bank of the river. From there we are getting a city tour. Not much view through our porthole at our morning berth. Lol. Went on the city tour. Quite interesting. Didn't bother with more sightseeing ...
