We arrived around noon at the Hotel and got a room update as the booked room wasn'T available. That's how we got into "Vila blu" a beautiful small apartment in a small white house. We had two bedrooms, a living room, a nice greek-looking kitchen, our own balkony and a bathroom. I really loved this apartment, it was beautiful and just gave me an …

After meandering along the streets of the old town and the market, we decided to grab lunch before boarding the bus to Heraklion. We decided to test out our new rules for Greek Restaurants:
1) Only eat at cute places. If the restaurant is beautiful, the owners take pride in the establishment and therefore their food.
2) Only order one appy and one main OR ...

We were greeted in the morning with breakfast on the balcony including home made Greek yoghurt and honey, homemade bread with jams made by 'muma' and plenty of baklava, fruit and tomatoes. After breakfast we wondered down into town to the beaches, and after climbing a few rocks were rewarded with ...

How has this hotel rated in the past?
As we arrived to the Hotel, the "family room" we booked wasn' available. so they updated our room without us asking for it to a sweet little apartment "Vila blu". Our all-inclusive did only include a rich buffet 3 times a day, but also cocktails at the pool bar and the other bars at the pool and soft drinks everywhere in the hotel.
The food was always tasty, the were many things to choose of and they always looked fresh. Whenever there were places available on the Restaurants balkony, we choose to sit there with a great view on the ocean. Just wonderful.
The room was clean and really nice with a blue kitchen just how you imagined a greek house to look like. The personnel in the Hotel was really nice, they took care of everything. Also we had many acitivties available, a tennis court right behind our house. The way to the pool wasn't really far and also the hotels' private beach was beautiful. The Hotels' pools were clean and a nice place to stay if you didn't want to get sandy.
On our first day there were people coming in to offer us trips to the sights on the islands or rental cars.
