... to Queens¨as I entered...it brought a smile to my face. The bridges here eh not so much a fan (5 bridges in whole race, 2 in Queens entering and leaving..brr). Although the Queensboro did/does have the most surprising and spectacular views of the city. The Bronx was also short, about a mile and had very winding streets, it was my first time stepping foot there, and the city center we ran through was pure greatness, not as wide of streets, tree lined, filled, I mean filled with ...

... cash and you often see groups of three or larger all paying separately and all paying by credit card. It makes the process of getting a ticket a lengthy exercise. And despite the fact that the gates are now open, there are only 2 people serving customers- it's like today is their first day or something. Not sure if I am impatient or whether we are just used to greater efficiency in Australia, but I suspect a combination thereof.

The empire state building was on the way so we stopped in the lobby but didn't go up. Eventually we got to times square and bought 5 comedy show tickets for Ben, Mike, My dad and Courtney and myself because they were coming to visit me this afternoon! excitement overload!
