... in. We also had to drop the car off at the airport. Our flight left Valencia at 7am. We had to be at the airport at 5am, which I didn't like at all, and instead of taxing it we walked across from our hotel to the airport. I managed to talk Sim out of doing a run across 6 lanes of traffic and instead we only walked across an exit lane and along the walkway. Much safer I thought, more boring Sim thought! Our next adventures take us to Paris for the French Open so keep an eye out for us!! ...

... and pasta and got a one litre sangria each! We ended up having a nice chat for a few hours and then returned to the hostel around 4.30am to find Laurence and Jess had returned looking dodgy.... disgusting... Katie was still gutted and Bex had stormed herself into a sulky silence...

Not quite the ending we expected to an amazing start at the power hour... oh well there will be other new years without the damn drama.

In Spanish, the word pesada means heavy. It can mean heave physically, like something that weighs a lot. It can also mean annoying or unbearable. But in the context I use it here, it means heavy, not in the sense of weight, but in the sense of a heavy heart, hard to bear, hard to understand and deal with.
