Capítulo 28- "Pero no me quiero ir"

The final 3 days of my trip I spent back in Madrid, but since my Study Abroad program was over, I had to find a hostel to stay in. I stayed at a place that had pretty good reviews although I wasn't expecting much. However, this place turned out to be really great, and I was able to make some new friends and have some really fun experiences!

... the bus stop and up another escalator before stopping to ask for assistance since it was clear I was misreading the signs. The bus was where I thought it was and pulling away as I walked up. Awesome. 20 minutes later, I get a bus. YAY! AND! There is WIFI on the bus! For real awesome!

Had a missed stop panic, but adjusted with a different stop however this had more stops/stairs. Finally arrived, settled in and got to know my new friend, Rachel, a fellow auxiliary only in Madrid. ...

We also enjoyed tostadas (sliced, lightly toasted bread) with mejiones (mussels), pickled herring with an avacado sauce (my favorite!), pulpo gallego (octopus, again), and a tuna topped with a pickled sardine topped with a light garlic sauce. So, I made it! As with all things Miami, everything is in Spanish, but flying to Spain on Iberia, I heard little to none. The guy sitting next to me didn't speak a lick of English and he was either on vacation to or from Orlando, I wasn't really sure.
