After lastly visiting the crypt, which is the oldest part of the building and where Gaudi’s tomb is, we walked all the way back to La Barceloneta for a fitting end to a great day with our fantastic meal at Can Mano (that I mentioned above).

... We checked out the city almost completely on foot so it was nice to come back to the pool to relax after walking around all day. The hotel was also close to the section of the city where the Barcelona Olympics were held. We walked to the main part where many of the events took place which also provided some sweeping views of the Barcelona skyline.
