    We say our final farewells to Marie-Jeanne and Fred and their friends Annie and Francois with the wind still billowing around Le Barcarès . We've had a great time visiting the area and living a little of their lifestyle - daily fresh baguettes, larger lunches and smaller dinners (well relatively speaking) and taking small tours to local areas.     ... were off. Some people tried to help us on the bus when all we knew was "Valencia Street" but they found it hard to answer our questions. Later we realised that Valencia street has about 6 stops and spans for about two miles, no wonder the confusion! We dragged our suitcases to where we thought we would find our hotel with no luck, the number 565 was not a hotel at all.     ... take - the green line two stops and then transfer to Renfe, the high speed train to the airport.  First thing I did was buy a ticket for the green line, 2.15 euros.  I debated which side was going the right direction to board, but finally I chose one.  I get on the train and it takes off.  I looked up at the train map and realize I am going the wrong way!  So, I get off the train and the next stop, go up stairs and back down to the other ...

    ... alive with festivals ,the centre of town had music entertainment and everyone was out and about enjoying their day off. Well it was time to get out too the usual I like to get there early as has we had to retrieve our bags from t1 and Bus it to T 2 so we arrive at T 2 about 6.30pm for a 10.30 pm flight.....plane delayed ....don't leave Barcelona until 1.30am arrive in our Dublin Hotel at 4 am ...long ...
