It was bound to happen - at least once on the trip

A travel blog entry by shavorjn

I didn't want to write this blog at all... But I've slept on it now and I guess it wouldn't be entirely truthful to our journey to leave it out.. Barcelona was only a one day trip as we were onto Mallorca next. Upon arrival at the airport we checked the exchange rate and it was 10 euro less than what we've been offered every where else, we checked the taxi fare and were quoted 20 euro for a 5min trip and ...

... tortilla (which is more like a potato omelet), and of course Sangria!
After that we were super sleepy and decided to head back and take a siesta. Of course, we got lost again and had to ask for directions like 10 times. Barcelona first full day was an eventful one. We woke up at about 11ish (needed it after all the travel and last nights exploits!) we headed straight to the metro and we heard a random hello behind us, it was a dutch lad from our hostel, he asked us where we were going, we said just exploring an he gave us a map, tidy :-)
First stop was the sagrada familia, even though it is about 80 years off being finished still looks ...
