          We left the comforts of the Marriott and headed another 200 hundred miles Southwest to the old town of Almeria. We found the hotel with some navigation work as many of the streets are narrow, winding, and one-way making driving a bit more challenging. We checked in mid afternoon and headed out for a short tour.

          ... so Mark could get his history fix (look at the pictures, he’s in heaven!!). Penny didn’t cope too well, temp hit 32 degrees today, not a cloud in the sky, but she managed not to get heatstroke, just moan a lot.

          ... continue, so, maybe I am missing something.

          At lunch time we cycle to the promenade at Roquetas de Mar, and head for a place called "Bar Aurora". It is staffed by Brits (and possibly owned by them for all I know). It is incredibly popular, people are hovering, ready to grab your seat as soon as you are ready to leave. The other bars / cafes along the promenade are almost empty.

          The attraction is the prices I think, for 8Euro, you get a bottle of wine ...
