... back to Los Escullos. We passed a few old wells that used donkeys to turn the wheel to bring up the water which would then travel down small aqueducts. The coast line is beautiful with turquoise sea lapping at the base of the cliffs.
I had to do some washing this evening - whilst on the walk and having seen nobody else for hours, I was surprised by a mountain biker whilst using my she-wee. Don’t ask!

Weather: Mucho Scorchio
We packed up and headed to San Jose. The campsite was easy to find and is lovely, shaded by eucalyptus trees. We had a walk around the small marina this afternoon and then went for our first sunbathe on the beach. I wore my new bikini for the first time.
After about 10 minutes I was bored, couldn't get comfy to read my book, covered ...
... then become disorientated amongst all the green houses.
We arrived back at the campsite as the wind started to get up. It howled for the rest of the evening. The awning was being blown so hard we had to disconnect it from the side of the van and use the guy ropes to stop it blowing away.
