After our very late arrival it wasn't til morning that we appreciated how nice our hotel was for the 63 Euro a night we had booked it for ( Thanks Agent Rates!) To top it off it had a roof top pool and terrace. We were positioned two blocks from the Marina so despite how tempting the pool was we decided to go explore the city.

Nog nooit ZO van een "Superior Room" genoten wegens plaats genoeg om alles te laten drogen..

After a couple of hours we rounded the last ridge to find Benidorm at our feet. Perfect timing, now a stroll into town for lunch before we caught a bus to the tram and were on our way home again.

The walking group has added a lovely element to our social life. Obviously the chance to speak English and share a cultural bond with our "mother country" (at least for me) is special.
