Verschrikkelijk ..
De vliegende Hollanders zijn er aan voor de moeite, want het regent hier pijpestelen..
Vandaag 3 keer moeten schuilen wegens zwaar onweer (met donder & bliksems inclusief ..)
Nog nooit ZO van een "Superior Room" genoten wegens plaats genoeg om alles te laten drogen..
't Is geel van boven en blauw vanonder …

In the car:
Passing through Valencia on the way from Peñiscula to Alicante. We drove over a bridge through these alien-like buildings above different pools. We're coming back on the 11th to stay!

The next stop on our Spanish tour was the coastal city of Alicante, a small city on the Mediterranean Sea. ... the G&T and beers kept us coming back for more. This is the Spain we grew to love last time around!

Some very welcome sunshine, a good book, a bar on hand for afternoon beers and a refreshing pool on our doorstep rounded out our trip to Alicante. Despite some of our reservations about the town and volume of tourists, Alicante provided just what the doctor ordered for us at this point in the year - relaxation.
