After our very late arrival it wasn't til morning that we appreciated how nice our hotel was for the 63 Euro a night we had booked it for ( Thanks Agent Rates!) To top it off it had a roof top pool and terrace. We were positioned two blocks from the Marina so despite how tempting the pool was we decided to go explore the city.
De vliegende Hollanders zijn er aan voor de moeite, want het regent hier pijpestelen..
Vandaag 3 keer moeten schuilen wegens zwaar onweer (met donder & bliksems inclusief ..)
Nog nooit ZO van een "Superior Room" genoten wegens plaats genoeg om alles te laten drogen..
't Is geel van boven en blauw vanonder …
... the river Serpis so possible sightings of Kingfishers, Egrets etc. Bring a small torch if you have one as route takes us through two or three tunnels.
Of course after each walk we stop for a cold beverage to talk and get to know one another a little better. Walking and talking, a great way to make friends!

... bit of paperwork (typical Spanish type) but we were able to take ownership of the car this afternoon. We returned our rental to the airport and took a taxi to the dealership.
It is now safely parked in our underground garage. Lars is busy thinking of a name for our wheels. I'm just excited to contemplate our next road trip. We may be headed for the south of France soon...Annelie and Jan, be warned!
... walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner. It was after 20:00 but true to Spanish habits we were the first diners through the door. It has been a long day for us and we were happy to have a simple dinner before returning home.
True to form the next morning we had a magnificent sunrise. We love waking to our seaside view.
