    ... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. We had a beautiful tea not far from there. When we got back from tea we had another spa, getting used to it (in the nude) still lots of laughs. It's now 9.00 and ready for bed.     This was the boys earliest morning so far, I had them booked to take the 8:45am Shuttle from our hostel to the train station to catch our 9:20am bus to Mishima Station to grab a train to Nagoya. We arrived with plenty of time to grab breakfast from the station (they got hot dogs!) and catch the bus.     ... where we got the Shinkansen back to Kyoto. We jumped on the first train which turned out to be a super high speed service that our rail pass did not cover - however the ticket inspector let us off - this once. We explored more of the shops at the centre at Kyoto station and had a Korean dinner there. It was still pouring so we did not fancy venturing out in the torrential rain.     ... Spent these days visiting some of the tourist spots like the Osaka Castle, Nagoya Tower. Plenty of window shopping and lots of walking. Its certainly not as touristy as Tokyo, which in a way is good. Prices on food and transport are cheaper. Lot less pedestrians. Things seem to get done at a slower pace here as well.
