September will go down as the easiest month of my tenure, due to the students studying for their mid-term exams. I had three lessons in two weeks, which was a welcome change after the chaos that defined August. We did have to make some student report cards, and Hew and me impressed the management with our computer skills, creating professional documents complete with line graphs showing each student's progress. Due to the lack of work, we were even treated to a slap up ...
Nagoya, Chubu, Japan rich... I didn't even understand >_< not to mention a lot of the questions were tricky with two plausible answers. Anyways after lunch we finished watching Grave of the Fireflies, what a sad, sad movie. We started watching My Neighbor the Yamadas and that was very entertaining. Still didn't really lighten up my mood. Dinner was shochu(that cream soup with vegetables and meat) (i love it, I wish i knew how to make ...
Okazaki, Chubu, Japan weeaboo... homeless chuu gakusei and then Roxy and I had cloth dying class, where we actually did nothing because we are ahead of the whole class somehow...again waste of time. Why, oh why is school becoming such a waste of time? I got home and I had an okay dinner I suppose, no meat, and only one dish that I liked. Oh, well. Thursday I went to school early and had Aoyama's class first ...
Okazaki, Chubu, Japan weeabooSo it's been an exhausting three days, let's see what's new. On Monday I went to Apita to look at the prices of furisodes...let's just say they weren't even close to being in my price range. I looked around at the sale stuff but didn't really find anything. I went to Uni Qlo just to see if there was anything new, and nothing that I really wanted. I also went to Daiso and for once didn't buy anything. hahaha. Unfortunately on the ...
Okazaki, Chubu, Japan weeaboo... Raiki's toy butcher knives and grabbed me and tried to cut off my neck, it actually hurt me...not sure if that was animosity or what. He also wanted to play rock-paper-scissors with me. I only agreed after my host dad said that if I won, he would give me 1000 yen. Thank goodness I won! After this there was cake, yummy! For some reason my host mom didn't want me to have another piece of cake though, so I settled for half a piece. I'm not sure what that means...I played with Raiki ...
Okazaki, Chubu, Japan weeabooMonday was the school Christmas party! After much confusion and going back and forth I ended up bringing all the cookies that I'd made over the weekend for the party. It was lots of fun, there was so much food! And everyone ate the cookies, of course ^_^. We played Bingo and even Jenga and Uno! So yes in other words a very successful Christmas party :D. For the gift exchange I gave away cookies and got a pink jar in return lol. It's cute, it has a baby pink ...
