... just one or two signs in English, not enough if you&re trying to figure out how many more stops you need to go. Frommer&s Japan says to allow at least 3 hours to see Meiji Mura; I think four hours is more realistic. It was definitely a worthwhile excursion! I celebrated by buying a Meiji chocolate bar *no relation( at the supermarket next to the Inuyama train station before I made the trip back to Nagoya. ...

Sat next to a guy on the ltd express to Nagoya and he noticed how wet I was and asked "Suzuka"? We laughed a little and tried to have a conversation. Without more than a couple of words between us I managed to work out he raced motorcycles at Suzuka, until injuries to his knee and shoulder became too much. ... like in the US. It starts at first floor. Luckily our rooms were ready and we could have a quick wash before going down to catch the private line to the SCMAGLEV Railway Park.

To me, this was the best one yet. Not as big as the ones we had seen before and had enough going on in terms of videos and demonstrations. We could experience going on the new MagLev train on a simulator at 500 Km/h. The wheels retract after a few seconds ...

... would always do a quick bow and say "Ohayou gozaimasu" as I walked and some of the youngerwould look and do a quick bow as they walked by. Everyone at the different shops as been nothing short of helpful and friendly with their energetic "IRASSHAIMASE!" as you enter.
