So we have now farewelled Spain, and are back across the border in Portugal. Hard to believe our time in Spain and Portugal is coming to an end. It is very tempting to return to Spain later in the trip, as although we’ve seen a lot of this beautiful country, there is still so much more! We could have easily spent the whole 6 months just in Spain!

... sludge and mud in a head wind across the high tableland before Hontanas. The mud was that bad that 2 bikers broke their gearing set up on their bikes with the mud just caking up on their wheels/frames and had to push them the rest of the way in to the village.
