... and they are off again. In a group of four males, one will have a large beer, one a small beer. one a red wine and one will have a coffee. They will sit and chat, usually all at the same time and after about 20 minutes they are off again and only to be replaced by others who order a different variety if drinks and they too are off as quickly as they have arrived.

Good Australian wines are as good as any that I have had in Europe. Our bad wines ...

... everywhere we looked. On entering what we thought was our overnight stop we could not locate our hotel nor could we understand the Spanish generously offered to assist us. I used my phone for the first time and low and behold, it worked. I was answered with a lot of fast spoken Spanish and then heard the words '10 minutes at the church'. So we have now farewelled Spain, and are back across the border in Portugal. Hard to believe our time in Spain and Portugal is coming to an end. It is very tempting to return to Spain later in the trip, as although we’ve seen a lot of this beautiful country, there is still so much more! We could have easily spent the whole 6 months just in Spain!
