    This is a very urban place high rise flats all around us we are on yet another car park but this one leaves a lot to be desired. There are about 12 vans parked along side us. Next to us is a sign telling us if we break any rules we will be punished by the Mayor not seen the Mayor so not going to chance it.     ... We chose 4 tapas with a wine and a beer and it was very inexpensive (12euro). I also found silver shoelaces I had searched the web for and couldn't find - they were in the bookmakers small window!! So 4 hours later we left San Sebastian on the coast road towards Bilbao (as recommended by the tourism office) and it was fabulous!     ... was a service taking place !!! As we moved up, I read that after it stopped being a monastery, it was used for stables before becoming a prisoner of war camp during the Spanish revolution !!! Eventually we came to the expensive suites. Franco use to have a room here, and once he died and the King and Queen returned, this was now their room whenever they are in Leon. I did ask for a look but was told, NO !!!

    ... found out that they had a wonderful weekend planned for us!

    We started out by visiting a local winery. We had a tour of the whole place and saw everything from where the wine was stored in barrels to the place where it was bottled... and at the end we had a wine tasting!
