I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport on my 8 hour layover, drinking a cold beer and reflecting on the last 10 years. This trip is far and beyond anything I've ever done before, and it is really exciting. Especially since I still don't have half of it planned yet!

Greetings. Well, the weather provided a little fun last night. Around 12:30 AM it started pouring rain. Cheryl woke up and realized it and said something that woke me up. 90 minute stopover in Charlotte. The hostess as promised had got me the seat next to Marie at the back of the plane. However, she did not tell me before I had stowed my camera in the overhead locker of my original seat. Window seat and no camera :( it was nighttime but lots of cities and towns below.
