So today was a day that Bec said I could plan and run however I wanted seeing that we were in Nascar Country. So first port of call was the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Whilst it is a massive place that dwarfs the country side around it, we didn't stay here too long. The next facility tour wasn't for about 30 minutes, and with so much stuff to do in Concord that is Nascar related, I thought we could visit a few of the race shops. ... Nascar Hall of Fame, and Charlotte motor speedway. Actually, it was Bec's idea to do the drive in 2 shifts and have a day in Charlotte, so I have to thank her for thinking outside the box on that one.
We managed to split the driving pretty much 50/50 today so we are both a little road weary. No photos either. Photo's of being between 2 semi trailers on the interstate don't make for good viewing. I can assure you that tomorrows photos will make up for the lack of shots today.
This morning was pretty casual: 6:45am wake up, regular breakfast (not host provided) and then a few folks shuttled us over to the build site. Today I dealt mostly with dry wall.
