We fly to Detroit in the morning so we really needed to repack our cases as we needed to re-evaluate what clothes we have as we are heading towards warmer weather in the south of USA. We headed to the airport for a 9.30am flight to Detroit on Delta Airways. We had allowed plenty of time so we could eat breakfast before we boarded. Kevin was 'chosen' for a TSA check so headed off on his own. I had to line up with everyone else and he was through in 5 minutes .... ...

    ... to have a 360 degree sensory experience about the manufacture of cars from raw materials to finished product. Well put together as you feel like you are part of it. Also got to see the American car evolution through the years in the Museum plus lots of other American icons. Even had a kid's garage where kids could do work on a car. Zach really enjoyed changing the tyres and checking the engine ...

    Made excellent time and were in the area by a little after 11pm. Used the GPS to find the hotel and it did not use the most direct route. None the less we got here.
