    Breakfast dragon!

    Good if not great

    from

on arrival we were given a room with two single beds in!! considering that we were coming for my wifes 30th we thought that this was out of order - fortunately they changed our room within minutes. my advice would be to double check your reservation - we had boked a superiro double with view of city. hmmmm view of city is slightly misleading.

for the first couple of days of our stay all of the english speaking channels were not working, but did get fixed. its always nice to have something on in the background whilst getting ready for a night out.

the bar in the hotel lacks any atmosphere (not the hotels fault as everyone heads off into the town.

on the plus sides the rooms are small but comfortable and decorated really nicely, the shower room is really good (even though water does leak into the main room after we'd both showered), breakfasts were excellent.

location is pretty good - 7-8 minutes to wenceslas square, 10 minutes to the old town - which is a nice stroll after the hearty breakfast.

turn left out of the hotel doors and approx 500 yards you'll pass a couple of restaurants and bars where the beer and food is 2/3 cheaper than if you walk another 300 yards - but these lack the atmosphere of the squares. perhaps just have a quick few in these before moving on.

i would stay here again though

    Great value

    from

Really nice hotel very well located. Great beds and lots of design. Very useful taxi service. Great and comfortable place to be. I'd definteley go back. On the bad side, no restaurant and problems in some rooms with water from the shower coming to the rooms.

    Totally Overrated

    from

Let's see, where to start? Advertised WiFi Internet did not work. Had to change rooms to get a room that had wired Internet. Could not close the shades all the way, meaning no privacy and lights shining in all niight. Channels 1-10 on the TV were out of order. Someone was coming to fix it, but it never happened. Breakfast starts at 7:00 and no in-room coffee, so bad luck if you have an early flight (as with us business travellers). Lots of noise from other rooms and elsewhere. Really limited room service, small rooms, cheap fixtures. Otherwise, very stylish and new. Pretty good bed. Okay location. I have stayed in worse, but also a lot better. Will probably pick another hotel next time.

    Wow! Wow! Wow!

    from

We arrived at this hotel on 11/4/06 and we amazed from the word go! The staff were really friendly and professional, and we checked in with ease. The hotel looks amazing from both the inside and out, and is very clean. It is a very modern hotel and is quite new (January).

We got upto our room and both of us said 'Wow!' at the same time. It was great-the hugh bed, LCD tv on the wall, decoration and furniture, and the wonderful shower in the wet room all made up for the room being a little on the small side. However, we still loved this hotel and would recommend it highly.

Breakfast was also great! Plenty of croissants, pastries, cheese, ham, fresh bread, scrambled egg and fresh fruit and juice, and tea and coffee.

We loved it and will definitely go back!!!

    What a gem!

This centrally located hotel is fantastic. It's stylish and unique and the staff are friendly and professional. We booked through Expedia and turned up to find out they didn't have our booking (be sure to confirm directly with the hotel to avoid having this scare!) They were on full occupancy however somehow managed to accommodate us without too much hassle. The rooms are great - monster comfy beds, amazing hot waterfall-design showers. Everything is new. Chic decor & yes a delish buffet breakfast - gourmet and fresh with loads of cheese without being cheesey. Look no further, hotel 987 is perfect!!

    Great value

Exellent value, spotlessly clean, staff welcomeing, and helpfull, good location for city centre, great breakfast, top marks from my wife and myself. would recommend, english couplein their fifties.who are hard to please.

    Stay Here!

    from

We loved this hotel too, its very modern, bright and clean. The staff were very cheerful and helpful, as we found all Czech people to be. The room is really two open plan rooms, the bedroom part is very comfortable, large proper double bed with duvet, two comfy chairs, plasma tv, plenty lighting, we found it to be very comfortable and relaxing.

The shower/wet room is amazing, a full on power shower room with heated floors, fantastic! The toilet, also with heated floor is separate and the handbasin is on the outside between the shower room and toilet. Boyf wasnt too keen on this, but we both agreed the luxuriousness of the shower room made up for it!

All the main tourist areas are in walking distance, but the excellent metro system is just next to the hotel too. I would absolutely recommend this fabulous hotel to all.

Very nice design hotel and very good situated

    from

The situation is great, only few minutes walk to the National Museum, Opera, and many other attractions.

The breakfast was very good. The rooms a little bit small but very comfortable and modern, they are funny!

    Friendly staff.

    LOVED, LOVED, LOVED This Hotel!

    from

Prague is a fantastic city, and the 987 is a fantastic hotel. Having just opened (January, I believe), things can be a bit crazy at times (work was still taking place, and the hotel staff is a bit disorganized at check-out) but overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Close to all of the tourist attractions and squares, you can't go wrong! Also, breakfast is AMAZING - some of the best breakfast pastries I've had in a long time - and there is a free-flowing (albeit tempramental, at times) cappuccino machine that makes a fantastic cup of coffee!

    MUST visit/stay here again!

    Excellent Hotel

    from

987 Prague Hotel has just recently opened, just got back from prague and this hotel meets its expectations, the staff are excellent and very friendly, the rooms are very modern and relaxing. I do recommend you stay at this hotel as it is not far away from all the tourist attractions where i walked to all of them without taking transportation.

New country, new money, new language. Like we now do in most cities we went for a walking tour through Prague. Our guide was Tatiana. She was a local girl who loved her home city. On the tour we explored both the new and old City Squares, the Jewish Quarter and walked thru many back streets of Prague. We also saw the Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. All in all a good day of exploring. We even found some markets where we did a little ...

After that we did a bit of shopping at a market and a main store called Manufakture which sells only Czech made things. I must say so far Prague has been my favourite for shopping! I bought lots of things and the prices are awesome. It's about 15 Czech Crowns for 1 ...
