      The great thing about winter in UK is that , at some time each day, you get warm! Woke to see sun but thick frost on the Boomer windows, in a lovely warm house. Another chance to look at "The Family Tree"over brekkie. Then set off for Stourbridge, where John had arranged to buy a new air compressor. Duly fitted new compressor. John left parts of two previous ones to be "cobbled" into one more spare. ...

      ... the ETA is 12:25. We finally leave the motorway and then Stirling decides we need to do a U-turn in some little country lane - poor old Panda driving the luggage van. We drive through Tewkesbury and everyone says Stirling will claim its a deliberate move to come this way. Its 12:40 before we actually arrive at the ground and Stirling is true to form.       ... today, with retirement at 35 runs. We bat first and get another good start despite loosing Jimmy for 19 and Ross for a third-ball duck. We are 2/105 at the half way mark with Gill and John Dedman both retiring. However, we once again loose our momentum in the middle overs and only add a further 30 runs in the next 10 overs.
