The discussions with Sarah about whether we should take a washing line sum up our thinking. I think we need to get into the 'travelling' mindset and fast! Wow, this crazy idea about doing some wandering across the globe has turned into something real and it's happening! Nervous? Excited? I'm not sure i know, I just want to go ...

Yesterday we drove down to Laverstoke Mill which is now the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. We had watched a Megafactories documentary on the restoration of the mill and loved getting to see it and to learn about making the gin. We drive through Tewkesbury and everyone says Stirling will claim its a deliberate move to come this way. Its 12:40 before we actually arrive at the ground and Stirling is true to form. And of course, not one person believes him.

... today, with retirement at 35 runs. We bat first and get another good start despite loosing Jimmy for 19 and Ross for a third-ball duck. We are 2/105 at the half way mark with Gill and John Dedman both retiring. However, we once again loose our momentum in the middle overs and only add a further 30 runs in the next 10 overs. Its time to put the pedal to the metal. Vinnie retires on 35no off 49 balls and Dennis makes 35no ...
