Back again !
Today was a slow day in terms of the time spent on the go. We were up and in to breakfast at 7:30 as the "Farm Lodge" hosts serve breakfast from 7 - 8:30 only. Had another good breakfast, getting us off to a good start to our day. Then back to the room to get cleaned up and ready to go.

... all my stuff. I needed to return the car so I had to get all my goodies out. I had no idea where AVIS was so I checked in my folder and there was a postcode, so I put that in and the GPS took me to the door about 5 minutes away. I caught the AVIS shuttle back to Terminal 5, went downstairs and caught the 423 bus back to the lodge. I was really pleased that I had managed to work this part out as I was a bit worried of the logistics of returning the car ...
... to be, on the long grassy stretch with woods nearby. Instead, we were right by the wall of the pub, near the road bridge. We had lunch at the pub – very good food, good service, and pleasant atmosphere. It was sad to see a dead cat by the roadside, removed later by the council. We were a bit concerned about Hugo but we decided not to shut him in.

... After leaving Stratford we passed through and or stopped to walk Chipping, woodstock Stow on the Wold and other very nice towns , quite different to other places we had seen
We got home at about 5pm and by 7pm we had driven to another village pub for a very nice meal.
Our stay with the Peacoks ended the next day when they made sure we were on the right road to
Although Oxford is a fascinating place, it is with some relief that we are back on the road. The constant hum of noise from the students ruminating over their chosen subjects dominate the cafes, restaurants and pretty much everywhere within the city.
