Hitting the Slopes!
We woke up excited and ready to hit the slopes. Our cottage is in the perfect location; on Main St and only 1 block away from the gondola. Once we got to the lodge at peak 8, we quickly realized we needed to do some shopping. Glove liners, check, second mask, check. We're ready! Or so we thought... Just woke up at the Inn of the Anasazi; drinking coffee by our adobe fireplace. We're gonna get ready, pack up and try to walk Sadie. Cant Leave Colorado without some Snow!!
On the eve of our first trip to Asia. We have encountered some snow! Glad we decided to spend the night on the front range and the car will need a cleaning in the morning before we set out for DIA. Had a nice last dinner in the States with Matt and Sara. The first leg of the journey takes us from Denver to Seattle for a short but well welcomed layover, load up on some food and snacks for our 11 hour flight ...
The Last Hurrah!
... about the future of Windstar at the event yesterday. Windstar is tired-looking and could do with an injection of new blood, and some money. It was a bit disappointing to see that the paver bricks that were donated over the years and were placed around the statue are neglected and in part, have sunk. It would be nice to see this little area to be fixed up and made nice. We wandered around for a little while, but decided to leave. ...
