The past several days have been pretty relaxed for us, so not enough to write about each day to warrant a new blog every day.
Here's a little bit about what we've been doing...
Monday - We started planning out our meals and went on a big food shop...we are a little limited as I don't have some of the kitchen utensils or machines I'd like to make certain things..but it all costs money!! We now have no chocolate ...
... a really nice little place called Aspen Over Easy. They did breakfast along with normal lunch. The food was so good and we are already planning on revisiting here when we hopefully go back for the X-Games in January.
After a little walk around Aspen we headed back home which took just under 2 hours.
We were pretty full so the evening consisted of relaxing, cuddles and ...
... in Gypsum (another 20 mins further west). It would appear that despite being called OCTOBER fest, everywhere locally had already celebrated it in SEPTEMBER....it's not just me that finds this strange, right?!?!
Anyway, Gypsum was the only place that had theirs in October so we went to see what it was all about....again a little quiet compared to what we expected but still a fun few hours. We had Bratwursts, Darren had a special brewed beer from near by 'Bonfire ...
... easy reach.
But let's get back to the Aspen trees, I adore them for the colour of their barks blue silvery and their amazing golden leaves which generally abandoned the branches at the gentle swirl of the colorado wind.

... cab...he was worried about human trafficking. He told Jp they had just busted some drug smugglers in a cattle carrier. Apparently as the cattle carrier drove by they noticed that they could see the feet of the cattle...usually they can't. When they inspected the trailer they found that a compartment had been built under the cattle and it was full of drugs! Back around 8pm. Jp and I got chocolate frosties from Wendy's and watched the lightening. So ...
