... After a call to the Medical Centre, they send a wheelchair to collect me.
Our unlucky room porter has this job. he would be lucky to weigh 60kgs.
I get sorted out with some steri-strips and bandage overkill and return to the room, where we notice that in addition the the carpet, there is blood on the outside decking and even the curtains. The appears to be no end to my bleeding talents.
Plenty of time left to get ready for tea and go to a show. Another great day.

We ogle in envy, but then realise they are leaving the island and we're still on it. Ha ha ! As we left the metal detectors at the entrance, a woman handing out Greek flags asked us why we were leaving. We exclaimed that everything was closed, and we did not come to watch something that can be viewed on TV. “But you are very lucky today, for the torch lighting ceremony – have you seen a torch lighting ceremony before?”. We described that we ...

... walk around the bay to the town square, past the cafe's and taverna's and small shops to see what the town had to offer. Poros is a popular destination for charter boats and tourists in general. The town is located on the smaller of the two islands with the common style of small houses, mostly painted white or cream with orange tiled roofs and shutters painted blue. Gentle hills surrounded the harbour on three sides, with the mountains of ...

... the island's infrastructure from his own pocket. So the road that goes around the island, he financed it and also the first (and only) cinema. Oh, another interesting thing about the island that the whole water supply is delivered by ships. So our Greek friend told us that probably we should not drink from the tap, but I did anyway. This water had no swimming pool taste at least :)
