We booked all our buses with intercity on a flexi-pass so we've a 50hr ticket to get to all 11 places we'd earmarked to see beforehand. It's a shame no one else did this, so there was a constant stream of cars struggling up and then back down the road (it is a dead end). The pictures were good fun and by the time we had walked up and back, we really felt we had earned our visit! The following day we moved on to Te Anau, to be within striking distance of Milford Sound (possibly the most highly recommended place in New Zealand)...

... Het is een enorm gezellig stadje met heel wat terrasjes en winkeltjes en aangezien we nu aan de andere kant van het zuideiland zitten is de zon en de lentetemperatuurtjes terug van de partij. De voornaamste bezigheid hier is dus het kuieren en 'terraskes doens' zoals elke rechtgeaarde Antwerpenaar op ne zonnige zaterdag in mei. Så hvis det går som det plejer, er jeg hjemme i Danmark med knogleekspressen inden 14 dage. Håber alle har det godt derhjemme. Dejligt at jeg har fået mails fra et par stykker af jer.
