With the summer near the halfway point I see my Haiti trip getting closer and closer with the days. Sadly I only have 1/3 of my intended money needed to purchase my ticket and go with the group. I ran into town to get some groceries and since we got to the house so much later than anticipated we just got some frozen pizza. Our house is really nice and looks like it was a good choice for our group. Tomorrow we tackle the Rattler on our way to Hot Springs with a stop at the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum.

    Teaching and Taught!

A travel blog entry by sweettea on Jun 13, 2015

... later in the week along with assembling first aid kits. I then transitioned to the river where I finally learned how to whitewater raft from the guiding position before concluding the first week on the rock where I gained more knowledge on top sight belaying, rescuing, and anchor set-up's. The training was extremely rich for me as I was able to teach from the skills I already knew and then work closely with the more knowledgeable to grow in my skills. Then this week ...
