    Day off, IT shopping, massage, pool

    ... for our afternoon complimentary massage in the hotel heath spa. After the massage we laid by the pool and went for a swim. Afterwards we went back to the room, showered and headed out for dinner. Tonight we finally found the Italian restaurant that was recommended to us. Had a great veal limone. Wandered back to the hotel, passing through Bangla Rd with all it's sights and sound. To be bed at reasonable hour, being picked up in the morning to go to Phi Phi island.

    Nadi and I are sleeping like babes, and in the same bed !
    The day often starts with a storm, we usually head down for a salty rain swim and then I sometimes hunt down a sort of real cup of coffee.
    My boy has done all the hard work and rescheduled me out of Thailand in a weeks time, rather than two. I could easily stay the extra time but as I said to him, I may never leave if I do ...

    ... 10 for the room, but on arrival found it quite nice, the room had twin beds and was clean enough, the aircon was freezing and the mini bar was cold.     ... I didn't have a chance to get away from the tourism and was mainly surrounded by rowdy Brits. If you can't beat them, join them! My next island was Koh Lanta. Packed onto a random ferry with a ton of backpacks and heavy hangovers, we were off to a new paradise...Koh Lanta is gorgeous, I stayed at a hostel which was 5 minutes walk from the beach.     ... on where we are. Being travellers we paid the cheapest (180 baht/3.76) but we could have paid more to sit in sofas! We then went to see if we could get a snack and you could get an extra large bucket of popcorn and a drink for 189 baht/3.95 but it was a special souvenir bucket/drink bottle with a little mike/sully on top.
