... at the end of the main street in the Red Light District or the Reeperbahn. We arrived at about 11am, which was too early to check in, so we left our bags and headed out to see what we could find – food hopefully because I was starving!

We started walked around and accidentally stumbled upon the Johan Brahms museum. An elderly German lady let us in and walked us around the first floor of the museum. It was in a little house, and had original Brahms compositions, ...

I m getting excited. While most people will be celebrating
New Year’s Eve with their feet on the ground, I will be in the sky, flying
towards my first stop on my 4 months travel in Asia: Bangkok.

I don’t know how often I will be able to write something,
but I will try to keep you all updated of my whereabouts.

With that said, I am ready to go!

I wish you all a good start into ...

... 40- moral of the story is never let yourself get that hungry you want to order everything on the menu lol. We stayed at St Christopher's inn hostel which was only 10-15 dollars each. We got up the next day and went through the christmas markets (which were some of the best we have seen!) in our way down to the harbour area. It's quite a big city and also very clean. There is not a great deal to see here but it's a very nice stopover on the way to berlin which is what we used it ...

Even at the airport I couldn't realize what's going to happen soon. Thanks for company to Marcus, Mam, Stefan, Dad, Barbara and Juliane. And special thanks to Björn: I was so touched by your farewell gift: selfmade necklace and earrings with blowball seeds (collected in the Schrevenpark) in it.
