Yesterday was a long long day! Although it would have been longer and harder for everyone else as they had a crossing to contend with! After a lovely few days in devon visiting family I was finally on my way. After a while in the que to get on the ship, me and Beth who I had met previously on Facebook were told to help pack down all the shops as we are having a refit, it took us all day! We went ...
... to the school, so we typically get to ride with him to where he works and then I walk the kids the last four or so blocks to school. That gets them there around 8-8:15 depending on traffic. This is when my day is always different. Some days I'll get on the train then transfer to the bus to go straight back home. It just depends on if I'm really tired or cold or have something to do there. Other days I'll slowly head to the train and ...

It was already packed by the time we got there, but it was really awesome (and cold!). Of course there is a lot of fish sold there, but there were also ...
I have survived my first week as an Au Pair! Of course there is still the weekend to go, but I made it through the first week of waking up at 6am and picking the kiddos up from school every day. The days have been quite long, but also very good. Every day is different and there's always something to see and do. Hamburg is such a big and diverse place that I don't think it's going to be possible for me to get bored. Next week will be a little more challenging. Both Jutta (my host mom) and ...
