And so the adventure begins....
... sweeping mountain views, it has not disappointed! Our first stop was Omeo, a great little town east of Mt Hotham, where we discovered there is some fantastic hiking around the area. We also luckily met Jean! She kindly offered to look after Scotty, as there were no local kennels, while we did a 2 day hike to Mt Feathertop, vic's 2nd highest mountain :) The hike was spectacular! A comedy of errors
... two aborted attempts - slipping the card in slowly and gently (wow that was faintly saucy), I finally got into the room and put the key into the power slot. Nothing happened. I tried again, and again, and again... FInally giving up for a lost cause (the phone wouldn't work of course) I headed down to the lobby and the manager came and looked at the power board on my floor. Turns out my room had tripped a fuse for some reason. Fixed and powered ...

Well as you can see we've found the best way of keeping you up to date with our travels. With just over 3 weeks to go we thought we'd better sort the blog out.
