      Nice basic Hotel

Simple basic, hotel. I was on a Harley Ride around the perimeter of the USA and wanted a first night stop coming from Florida. This served me well. Not a typical Hampton. External entry, nice staff basic.

... When we planned this trip we knew we were visiting our kids all the rest of it we would go with the flow. We never expected to see and do all of what we accomplished. We may not have an opportunity to be away for three months consecutive again but are certainly glad for doing it now.

There is so much to see and do in our country. I wish everyone could see even a small part. Take the time and effort to see National Parks, museums and arts in your own ...

Since Hayley was out of action I drove us out of Washington, D.C. in spite of the sat nav being a bit ****, and onto the i95 where we stayed all day today and will continue on tomorrow! A single stop at Denny's for lunch and one stop for gas and in total I covered 316 miles today until we landed ...

... a range of 411 miles, can't complain about that as it would get us to where we needed to go.

This drive was long and straight. Mile after Mile of wooded hills and valleys as we passed through Virginia and North Carolina. Passing umpteen civil war battlefields, Richmond the confederate capital and the Stonewall Jackson memorial gave us a real sense of history.

Our Fayetteville lodgings awaited our arrival and ...

... raging horror on his face.......cuz there's a girl in the men's room. Now I find this hilarious because my understanding of men is that they want to show all women, and any women, their junk all of the time.....but I guess this is not true when they're trying to make wee-wee. The showers are awesome. Private rooms with shower, toilet, sink and counter. This was the first time we ...
