... Missouri River" while I'm away. ...rivers can't sense sarcasm, right? Just last year the river rose over 30 feet, filling Cooper's store with over 18 inches of muddy water.

Anyways, really hope that doesn't end up being foreshadowing. Our plane leaves on August 4. Starting to really feel the prelude to adventure!

... ware to toiletries, etc. It had stuff that was overstock and the prices were unbelievable. I found a slotted spoon for the kitchen of the RV which I had discovered Sunday night was not there as well as a blouse I couldn't pass up. The bill was all of $7.55! Can't beat that!

... while on the road and pray for special intentions on each of the Hail Mary's.
We had just finished for about ten minutes when we heard a very loud "bang"! Since Pat did not lose control of the RV, we knew it had to be a back tire which had blown. We drove slower and exited at the very next off-ramp. A couple of truckers helped Pat change the left outside (there are two on the back on each side) back tire.

... day...right? he replied: "well...they've all closed...I hear horror stories..I wouldn't eat here if I were you...I'd go somewhere else". Hmmm. So...I did. The next time I pulled off and drove down the street...I saw the most interesting and beautiful small brick homes! My brother John has more intuitive and experienced knowledge of vehicles than anyone I know. I was eager to take my van to him so he could get his hands on it and check it out.
