... with us and he didn't bark while Ruby loaded the car. Laramie is the home of the University of Wyoming which is a beautiful campus. Lots of brick buildings. Laramie also has some very pretty churches. Good architecture, some sort of Old World-looking. We saw those last night after dark and didn't get any pics. ago..

We woke to another beautiful day and went on a short walk
along the lakeshore. At this point, we
were birdwatching with binocs in hand.
Later in the morning we visited the Refuge Headquarters. Stewart knew a former Refuge Manager here who
died about 5 years ago(Ken Neithammer) and wanted to share the memory with the present manager. We met several staff and a hydrogeologist
from Brunswick ME ...

We woke up to a lovely coating of snow but the sky was clear which looked promising. We left Boulder at 9 and the car temperature gauge in the car was saying 33F which is 1C. Needless to say we had many layers on and all our trekking gear on. First stop was an outlet shopping area north of Boulder, good for shoes and jeans but not much else. We parked our motorhome and went to change clothes in our beautiful rustic cabin - it is strange to have a house with bedrooms, bathroom, living room and a fireplace.
