When we were growing up and went on family vacations, my mom was notorious for having brochures spilling out the sides of manila folders and typed up itineraries for every day. I flew back to Rochester for Memorial Day weekend for Caitlyn's baptism. We were able to get out for the first real sail of the season (a little chilly, but not bad!), I tried on some wedding dresses with Mom and Christina, and celebrated my birthday a bit early with a delicious lunch at my favorite Rochester restaurant.

It was a wonderful weekend home with beautiful weather, and we even had time to get the boat ready for the season (along with a brief sail).

Braughts are home. Jetlagged and woke up at 5:00 am. Here is Marty's entry for their day in Madrid.

We got up early, arranged late departure, got our boarding passes printed out and caught a cab to the city. (The girl at the front desk looked exactly like "Robin" from How I Met Your Mother). We got to the Plaza Mayor early – the street crews were still cleaning up from the previous night and the ...

Don and I signed on to do another Sandals familiarization tour especially to see their new resort in Grenada. However, we got off to another bad start. We left the house at 2 AM to drive to Rochester for a 6 AM flight. We made it in plenty of time to arrive at directed at 4 AM. After standing in a long line with all the other travel agents attending to check it. We made it through security and massed near the gate. However, there was ...
