Lovely hotel. Excellent and friend staff! Breakfast's were delicious. Make sure to go to Happy Hour at the bar - the barman we had on both occasions was super nice!

We then headed across to the Pavilions of the World and spent the rest of the day exploring the mini replica of each country represented. It really is so well done and amazing how many countries the kids have already been to; Canada (a bit), France, Italy, China, England, the USA... But they ...

... My other "lavishment" is to smother my face in luxurious an hugely expensive cream from the likes of Guerlain or La Prairie. Smelling like a Paris brothel and with shiny faces we returned to Bob and headed off to the gate.
The flight was 8 and a half hours but it passed really quickly and the meal was quite nice. I slept a bit and read a bit and joy of joys watched The Second Best Marigold Hotel which I'd been longing to ...

... homework this first week included rewriting the words to "Grand Old Flag" and watching "The Music Man". That's my kind of class.

In other news, I have been getting very involved in NU Stage, the group that did Urinetown last semester. I found out about two weeks ago that I was elected secretary of the group for this semester. The previous secretary is out on co-op in Seattle and she is training me in and helping me out from ...

... Owen just needed to raise a flag, and I had to participate in the competition and then get dressed up like a pirate and go on stage. Yep nearly died! The show was great though with lots of singing, sword fights and swinging on the flag poles from the centre ship to decks behind the audience. The food was good too, really tender beef with medeteranian style rice and our very first bits of veg in America! Overall and awesome ...
