... school, and finally got to meet her hubbie Wayne. We spent the evening sitting around their braai (webber) in the backyard, while Wayne cooked a delicious potjie pot (like a beef and vegetable casserole in a big black pot), the boys played Lego, and we all chatted and drank beers! I (Jacob) had an excellent time in the homestay with Joe, one of the other three men on this trip. Our host family, the Sfino's, were a lovely bunch of middle-class South Africans of Zulu descent living in the midst of a new suburban ...

... at the airport and we flew to Johannesburg. We had a tearfully spicy meal and parted. I went to the hotel and later met up with a friend from undergraduate. We wet to the Apartheid museum ( where I was discriminated against and made to may for my meal upfront through all the white customers paid after) and an exposition. Finally I went home to USA
