It had rained overnight in Corvara so the roads were wet when we left but it wasn't raining. The good thing was that the roads were ours - hardly any traffic. The bad thing was that the roads were wet and slippery. Canazei was our forts port of call - a very wealthy ski resort. The buildings were very ornate and there was plenty of traffic. We went through the Passo do Costalunga and found ourselves in the apple ...

If the awesome sleep experienced was anything to go by, then
the previous day’s walk was definitely worthwhile.

After a light breakfast we walked across to Champfer where
we collected two bicycles from Stef. From there we set off on a cycle tour
towards the town of La Punt via St. Moritz. The trip can be done through the
          forest and ...

... br> proverbials off. Eventually we got over the top of the pass and headed down
into the lee of the mountain where conditions were marginally more pleasant.
Here there was snow and a valley of magnificent color extremes. The rocks
varied in color from green to red to purple and white. At the base of these colorful
cliffs was a lake of the most amazing turquoise blue.

After another hour’s walk we arrived at the Jurg Jenatsch Hut

          Day 2 training.

... as they were kind enough to allow us to use
the cable car to get to the top of the mountain first.

As always the scenery was stunning and even though we were
treated to a few drops of rain the excursion was great.

The afternoon was spent watching Stef hard at work teaching
people to kiteboard after which we did some shopping before going for supper at
          Stef’s house.

... our camper van ready for the drive to the Engadin Valley
where we plan to stay for the next week. After an awesomely scenic drive,
featuring lakes and mountains, we arrived at our camp ground in Silvaplana.
After a quick shower we drove over to Stef’s house in Chamfer for a home cooked
meal with Stef and her boyfriend Jan.

Then back to the camp for a good night’s sleep.
