... day, so no alligators were sighted. There was plenty of birdlife and lots of Cyprus trees adorned with Spanish Moss.

A duck hide was in the middle of the bayou. I could imagine some strange things happening in that swamp and thought how difficult it would be to find your way out. Consequently we were extremely polite to our guide and driver.

... we had to leave. We had lunch at a Subway & then went to Huckster Finn's to get picked up for the swamp trip, it took 45 mins to get out to the swamps, we only saw 2 alligators & 5 Wild pigs but we had a good time until we had to wait ages for the driver to come back with the bus to take us back, he dropped us off near the cafe Le Monde & we walked back but stopped at Bubba Gump for dinner which the boys liked & then came back to the ...

... and started venturing. First, I found a salsa band performing on a makeshift stage just outside of the French Quarter. I began to realize how unique of a culture New Orleans held as everybody danced together in the street. Every single audience member appreciated the music and left all shame at home; we were all there to enjoy ourselves and the arts around us.

Walking back towards the hotel I heard a couple of strangely familiar voices ...

... The Dixieland band were great and at least we did not have our ear drums blasted by them we could here them well on the deck below. It was a great cruise and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Best fish tacos ever had in my life!!

That night we just wandered the other end of the quarter towards Esplanade. French market was closing up and we had forgotten our phones to take pictures, but it was a nice evening.
